Hey everyone!
It’s finally here! I’ve arrived in London and our orientations are out of the way. It’s been nice talking to everyone– so many different experiences and backgrounds, just in our group alone. I can’t wait to get to meet some of the students I haven’t talked to a little better and to meet some people from London and other schools.
Although everyone was jetlagged and tired from almost a full day of stop-and-go travel, we (mostly) woke up feeling refreshed. We had a chance to stop at one of the local coffee shops and grab groceries. The city is so different from any in America. Somehow, it seems both big and small, local and bustling. There’s a lot to adjust to, but I’m strangely confident in the fact that it already seems so much like some of my favorite places.
I think that besides traveling abroad to the rest of Europe, I would really like to make London feel like a second home. So many goals in my mind, and so many things to do and see! I can’t wait to keep you all in the loop.
