Ethan Knox

Hi! It’s nice to meet you!

I’m Ethan, and I’m a creative writer and journalist based out of Binghamton, New York.

 In 2020, I graduated with honors from Binghamton University, after studying English with a concentration in Creative Writing and Global Studies. I have varied work experience under my belt, including freelance writing for the Research Foundation on campus and other local organizations.

Right now I work mostly in print as an Internal Communications Specialist for my alma mater, Binghamton University. However, I also love visual projects like photography. I’d like to learn more about other multimedia formats, too. Maybe someday I’ll even jump on the train and start a podcast! My goal in my career and in maintaining this portfolio is to tell compelling stories and understand what links us as humans. As a queer person in the digital age, I want to tell the stories that have been left out of the mainstream canon, help those who need it, and hopefully, create some memories along the way.

If you can’t find me working on a writing project, then I’m probably out in nature, reading novels, working on a crossword, listening to podcasts about true crime, crocheting, or making lists.
